Spiraling and Radiating Light 2019, BART Parking Garage, Walnut Creek CA

Spiraling and Radiating Light uses that ubiquitous part of the urban landscape the “Cobrahead lighting fixture” to transform the mundane into a celebration of form and movement and light. The traditionally sodium vapor yellow lighting is transformed into programmed LED patterns that slowly change throughout the evening. When trains approach, the patters speed up Indicating you have missed that train, don’t rush!
